AS Inform
is a national document, originally produced by Andrew Powell in
Avon in 2001.
AS Inform is an attempt to ‘map’ services in the areas of community
care, Further Education or Higher Education, employment, diagnosis,
counselling, benefits and social support/leisure.
It has now been updated by the project’s Information Officer and
is an information resource for parents of teenagers and adults
with Asperger syndrome living in Greater Manchester.
The Autism Commissioning Standards document was drawn together
by a working group made up of commissioners and autism-specific
providers facilitated within the North West and by The National
Autistic Society.
